About

My name is Cynthia and I have been knitting for a long time (circa 2005)! For most of my knitting time, I have made self-drafted patterns. If I used a pattern, I made many alterations to fit exactly what I was looking for.

I have gotten better at finding that exact pattern I am looking for but still love a self-drafted project and making alterations. In the past few years, I have become more interested in sharing those projects through patterns.

My goal is to create patterns that are easily altered (we are all different and want different things!), versatile, and inclusive. This includes writing easy-to-read patterns and size inclusivity. I have a passion for sharing these skills so you can definitely count on beginner-friendly patterns and lots of pattern support.

My great-grandmother taught me how to crochet when I was young. I picked it up again in 2020 because I had so much yarn and wanted to expand into other yarn-ish hobbies. Since then, I have found a love for Tunisian crochet as well!

I graduated from Western Washington University with a major in Psychology and a minor in Mathematics. During the day, I work as a Project Manager at a global translation company.

When I am not knitting (and usually when I am), you can find me listening to a fiction audiobook, creating music and art, taking photos, bird watching from my porch, or watching any number of TV shows.

Fun Fact: All of the landscape photos on this website are photos I have taken! Most were taken on the Pacific Coast of the US or on San Juan Island off of Washington State.
