The Companion

Scarf / Headband

This scrappy accessory was inspired by the look of a square scarf rolled or folded and tied around the neck. This design mimics that look without folding the knitted fabric.

In practice, this companion piece doubles as a headband. I love accessories and clothing that have multiple purposes. The ribbing in this project makes it stretchy both laterally and vertically making it even more versatile!

I hope this project helps you use some of your scraps or one-of-a-kind skeins, make something to match a larger project, and explore the possibilities of this little accessory.
